It’s been just over 5 years since Draw Me A Pixel unleashed their masterpiece, There Is No Game, on the world, and I still think back to it sometimes. It’s still one of the most original takes on a game to this day, and an absolute blast as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, finally, Draw Me A Pixel is bringing us another point-and-click adventure with another incredibly unique spin, called Crushed In Time. This time, a developer has created a brand new Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson video game, but one of the characters has mysteriously gone missing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it’s up to us to help the hapless Sherlock and Watson yet again to uncover the mystery, find the missing character, and save the game from the flood of review bombs in protest to the missing character. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unique angle on this game is that the world and everything in it is elastic, and we can pull, stretch, and play with the world, much like the Super Mario 64 start menu, where we could interact with Mario’s face. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll need to use this feature to help solve puzzles and, eventually, the mystery at large, because (obviously) we can’t rely on Holmes and Watson to do it themselves. If you played There Is No Game, you’ll know we’re in for a bag full of laughs, surprises, and \u2014 to quote the developer \u2014 “bugs, probably.” That phrase alone already captures some of the humor and wit that I’m greatly looking forward to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game will also have some form of time travel mechanic (hence the name), full voice acting, and plenty of easter eggs for us to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, we have a bit of a wait ahead of us. Crushed In Time is slated for a 2026 release date, but it’s certainly something to look forward to.
