Rogue is finally ready to join Gambit and the other X-Men on the battlefield in Marvel Rivals, which means you can use her incredibly unique powers to secure a win. Rogue is one of the most complex and deadly heroes on the roster, so you’ll need to learn her abilities and kit if you want to play her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her abilities in Marvel Rivals draw directly upon what she’s capable of in the comics and other media, which means she can steal and copy powers from others. As you might anticipate, this means there’s a whole lot she’s capable of when used correctly. Rogue has seven main abilities<\/strong> in Marvel Rivals, plus one additional move thanks to her Team-Up with Gambit<\/a>. Her powers allow her to dish out brutal melee strikes, absorb incoming attacks and convert them into damage she dishes right back, and absorb powers from enemies, gaining access to specific moves usually only available to the person she’s stealing from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power Surge Punch<\/td>LMB<\/td>Punch forward with both fists.<\/td><\/tr>
Heartbreaker<\/td>Q<\/td>Activates Rogue’s ultimate, which allows her to continuously absorb ultimate ability energy from nearby enemies and steal different stats depending on their roles.<\/td><\/tr>
Fatal Attraction<\/td>Shift<\/td>Dash forward swiftly. Press the same button again to release a burst of Chronovium Power from her ring, dealing continuous damage to nearby enemies. After a bit of a delay, the energy retracts, pulling all nearby foes toward Rogue in the process. <\/td><\/tr>
Chrono Kick Combo<\/td>E<\/td>Dash forward and launch up an enemy, entering flight. Activate this move again to knock down nearby foes. Her next two Power Surge Punches become ranged, piercing enemies from afar while also granting bonus health.<\/td><\/tr>
Ability Absorption<\/td>F<\/td>Dash forward to knock down your targeted enemy and begin absorbing their energy, temporarily replacing Ability Absorption with one of the targeted enemy’s abilities or refreshing Fatal Attraction. She also absorbs health and stats based on their role.<\/td><\/tr>
Defensive Stance<\/td>RMB<\/td>Absorb nearby projectiles and decrease incoming damage. Absorbed damage then boosts your next Souther Brawl.<\/td><\/tr>
Southern Brawl<\/td>LMB (With Defensive Stance active)<\/td>While in Defensive Stance, dash forward and slam foes down in front, dealing area damage. <\/td><\/tr>
Hearts As One<\/td>C<\/td>Gambit shared his Kinetic Energy with Rogue and Magneto. When Rogue triggers this ability, all of her attacks create a kinetic explosion that damages nearby opponents and heals nearby allies.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If you’ve ever played Loki, you have a bit of an understanding of how Rogue works, too. He has a much more simplified version of copying, though, as he can only copy other heroes’ ultimates, whereas Rogue can copy actual abilities and gain buffs based on the character’s role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
