Bandai Namco has released the system requirements for the PC version of Code Vein II, the sequel to their soulslike action RPG featuring vampires, I mean, Revenants. The requirements are somewhat inconsistent, especially regarding the CPU on the AMD side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the most part, everything checks out. This is an Unreal Engine 5 title, so it is obviously going to be more demanding than the previous entry. However, on the recommended side of the specs, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D is listed for a 1080p 60 FPS target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, either this is a mistake, or they picked a random CPU, because it is hard to imagine that a game like Code Vein II would require something that powerful just to run at 1080p. What’s more is that the Intel counterpart is the Intel Core i7-12700KF, which isn’t even in the same ballpark as something like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is one of the best CPUs money can buy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If it really does, which I am confident is not the case given that this is a PS5 and Xbox Series S|X title, it suggests that we could be looking at a fairly demanding and possibly unoptimized game at launch, especially at higher graphical presets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from that, you’ll need around 70 GB of free space to install the title and on the lower side, you can get a 30 FPS experience at the low settings with a GTX 1660 Super.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Code Vein 2 Release Date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Code Vein 2 is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and the PS5 on January 30, 2025<\/strong>, if you purchase the standard edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
